MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT-I'M A COWBOY
Hi, My name is Big Mike. I was born July 14, 1990 in the small town of Sugar Land, Texas. Basketball, Baseball, and Football were the three of the most important things in my life for a long time. To this day Basketball and Football are the two most fun things in the world for me. A lower point in my life came about when I was only two years old. My Dad was diagnosed with caner. Thankfully, he was able to fight through it and is still alive today. I'm so proud to know that he had the perseverance to overcome something like that. After about ten years of living in Texas, my family and I moved out to California. I was ten years old. At the time I thought it was the worst thing that could happen. But after a couple days I met new friends and formed a new opinion on the move, I thought it was a blessing. When I was twelve years old I was accepted to Chaminade Middle School. In sixth grade, my orange football team won the league championship and I was voted MVP. In the same year, my Basketball team came in second in the league. I was voted to the All=League team by other coaches in the league. It was easily one of the best years of my life and a great way to start Chaminade. As a seventh grader, I made the Delphic 8 basketballs and football teams. I was voted All-League again for both teams. Over the summer, my club basketball team went to nationals in Memphis, Tennessee. It was one of the best experiences in my life. We came in seventh. It was the most fun I've ever had. This year, I again made both Delphic teams. I led the football team to a 4-0 start, starting at quarterback all the games. After playing in these games I dislocated my thumb in one of my club basketball games. I missed the rest of the season. In basketball, I missed a few games do to a dislocated knee. We still ended up finishing second in the league and winning the Notre Dame and Chaminade High basketball tournaments. So far my life has been great and I can't wait till high school next year.
