About My School

Chaminade Middle School is an excellent academic school that is fit for everyone with its many teams and clubs.  I participate in the robotics team, Radio Chaminade, and several before and after school bands.  These activities keep me occupied, and make me more a part of the school family.  Chaminade, a school in the Marianist tradition, is based with five Marianist characteristics of education.  Some traits include adaptation and change, and formation in faith.  The students at Chaminade use these to guide them throughout their years.  The Chaminade religion department also requires a selected amount of community service hours to be completed by March, which also teaches the students to provide service to their community, to help those in need.  There are many drives and funds that are opportunities to supply for the community.  Furthermore, some of my experiences at this school, are competing at Legoland for the robotics team, broadcasting for Radio Chaminade, and performing in various locations for the band.  These clubs offer many opportunities to represent the school, but also require many meeting times, which builds commitment, and dedication.  Chaminade has also held retreats, masses, and field trips, to enjoy the school, and better understand certain topics, academically, or spiritually.  Being educated at Chaminade has been an excellent experience, and has taught me values that I will use throughout high school and college to become a better person as an adult.
