An island off the coast of Antarctica has been inhabited by new species never before seen.  One of the many new species is a Durtle (dostuda) or a mix between a dog (docga) and a turtle (testudo).  The Durtle is a slow moving animal who will only kick it into high gear for a bone of some sort.  It is very kind and does not like violence.  It will run and hide into its marble hard shell when danger brews.  It is and omnivore and will eat only twice a day.  The Durtle is not a very good pet because of the high maintenance shell and fur.  If not in the right habitat and conditions, the Durtle will not eat, move, or come out of its shell therefore it will die.
