I love the school that I go to, Chaminade Middle School.  As an eighth grader, I have a lot more freedom.  One way is having the eighth grade lawn.  I like being able to have a place where only our grade can eat lunch.

            Aside from being an eighth grader, there are a lot of other great things about this school. 

            Once really big reason is the sense of community we feel.  Our school makes everyone feel welcome by the different things they do.  For example, the WEB program was made to help the sixth graders become adapted to our school.  This makes people a lot more comfortable being there.  Another thing is random games like Homecoming at the high school.  We can hang out, and learn more about the high school campus so it isn’t as scary when we get there.

            Another good thing is the extra-curriculars they offer at this school.  I took part in Eagles News Network.  That was fun and I learned a lot.  This year, I am taking part in the Performing Arts Club.
